Mike Tomlin confronted Reggie Bell

After the Steelers clenched the AFC North, Mike Tomlin confronted Reggie Nelson during post-game handshakes regarding…something.

Common sense would dictate that Mike Tomlin wasn’t too keen on Nelson’s low hit on Pittsburgh RB Le’Veon Bell. However, that wasn’t the reason that Mike Tomlin confronted Reggie Nelson, at least not according to the head coach.

Instead, we got a pretty weird pseudo-explanation that no one knows what to do with:

“You have to ask him about that. He was talking about some he-said, she-said type of a deal. I don’t know what he was talking about. I guess a teammate told him that I said something regarding him. That’s untrue. Ask him. I have a lot of respect for Reggie Nelson. He’s a good player.”

Well all right then.

After the interaction, Bengals head coach/chief peacekeeper Marvin Lewis stepped in to keep the calm. Here he is, saving the day:
