Zemgus Girgensons Latvian Rap Song

For those who are unfamiliar with Zemgus Girgensons, allow me to fill you in.

The 21-year-old Latvian-born hockey player was a first-round selection by the Buffalo Sabres in 2012.  During his 2013-14 rookie season with the Sabres, Girgensons recorded just 8 goals and 14 assists in 70 games.  He also made the trip to Sochi for the 2014 Winter Games, tallying a goal and an assist in five games for his home country.

Girgensons has taken a big step forward this season, having already accumulated 11 goals and 20 points in just 41 games played.  That still places him only 58th in the league in goals, and 147th in points; however, that didn’t stop fans from Buffalo and Latvia from voting him into the top six in All-Star voting.

So, in short, Zemgus Girgensons is a Latvian All-Star Center who plays for the Buffalo Sabres….

…Oh, and he has a Latvian rap song about him. It’s by some Latvian rap duo named Olas.  You can watch it below:
