On Sunday, third-place Lazio held a 2-0 lead over second-place Roma at halftime. It therefore looked like the Biancocelesti were headed for a huge win over their crosstown rivals in the first leg of the 2015 Roma Derby.

Then Francesco Totti took over. The 38-year-old Roma captain scored twice in the second half to level the score. And, in a move surely orchestrated in advance with the intention of adding insult to their rivals’ injury, Totti celebrated the second goal by grabbing his iPhone and snapping a selfie right there on the field.

Here’s a video of the goal (which was brilliant, btw) and now-famous selfie:

And here are photos of the Francesco Totti selfie from every possible angle, courtesy of the AS Roma Instagram feed:

Of course, if you’re experiencing a little deja vu right now, that’s because we have in fact seen this before. Last summer, Dom Dwyer of the MLS’s Sporting Kansas City did the exact same thing.
