Russell Wilson drilled by Clay Matthews

Russell Wilson has already thrown three interceptions midway through today’s NFC Championship Game, which the Packers are leading at halftime, 16-0.

Only his first interception led to points for the Packers—an 18-yard field-goal by Mason Crosby—but the second did seem to inflict some damage upon the Seahawks quarterback.  Wilson was hit hard on a block by Clay Matthews after the interception.  Check it out:

We don’t see Russell Wilson drilled that hard too often.  During FOX’s Halftime show, Terry Bradshaw suggested Wilson may have been rattled on the play, as he has failed to properly go through his progressions on several occasions during the second quarter.

We’ll see if the effects of the hit carry over into the second half.
