Sad 76ers Miss Five Shots in a Row, Prove They Still Suck More Than Knicks (Video)
After the New York Knicks went and lost 16 games in a row recently, NBA fans and pundits started to wonder: could they, and not the Philadelphia 76ers, be the worst team in the league? But last night the 76ers put an end to all that silly talk with an emphatically pathetic game against those Knicks, highlighted by a sequence in which they missed five straight shots from less than six feet.
I mean, just stop and think about that for a second. Try to create a mental image of professional basketball players shooting five straight shots from point blank range and missing every single one of them.
It’s hard to do, isn’t it? And yet it happened. Here’s the video to prove it:
The official box score only lists four missed shots. But I think they were just trying to be merciful by not counting one of the tip-in attempts. I say it’s five misses.
Either way, this puts to rest all the talk of the Knicks being the worst team in basketball. The 76ers are the anti-champs.
