K.J. McDaniels self-alley-oop

The Philadelphia 76ers were greatly outmatched in their battle with the first-place Golden State Warriors this evening, but they did put together a few Warrior-esque plays of their own during their respectable 89-84 loss.

Specifically, I’m talking about the K.J. McDaniels self alley-oop between a couple of Golden State players during the first quarter.

Check it out:

The 76ers were actually leading at the end of the first quarter, 24-20.  And they were only trailing by two points at the half.  But the Warriors took control in the third quarter, and by the 9:03 mark of the fourth quarter they had built themselves a comfortable 81-63 lead.  So don’t let the late surge by the Sixers and a fancy K.J. McDaniels bucket fool you—the Warriors were never in danger of losing this one.
