Hidden Ball Trick Gives Syracuse Lacrosse an Easy Goal Over UVA (Video)

hidden ball trick

The hidden ball trick is a gimmick used in a lot of sports. But it lends itself particularly well to lacrosse, where the ball is kept in a little pocket, out of sight. Couple that with a giant field and a lot of commotion, and it’s easy to see why the hidden ball trick is such an easy way to score.

Take for instance this clip of the Syracuse goalie running around in his own end while everyone, offense and defense, clears out. I mean, why on earth would you think he wouldn’t have the ball? Here’s the clip:

Syracuse is┬ánot the first lacrosse team to pull off the hidden ball trick, and I’m guessing they won’t be the last, given its frequent success.
