Hampton Ric Flair chant vs Kentucky

The Indianapolis Colts rode their Ric Flair chant all the way to the AFC Championship Game, where they would eventually lose to the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

If the Hampton Pirates of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference can ride their use of the popular Ric Flair chant to just one win at the NCAA Tournament, it would be one of the most amazing stories ever—because it would happen against the undefeated, No. 1 ranked, tournament favorite Kentucky Wildcats.

We doubt there will be a happy ending to this story for Hampton (the Wildcats are already leading by seven midway through the first half), so enjoy their “two claps and a Ric Flair” chant while you can:

Hampton seems pretty relaxed with Jeff Goodman for a team that has to take on Kentucky in its next game.
