Blake Griffin Shakes Things Up with a 360 Block (?) This Time (Video)

Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin hasn’t been quite the player he was in previous seasons from a statistical perspective, but that doesn’t mean that he’s still not one of the most explosive players in the league. Few players are capable of offering up the same surprising and astonishing plays as Blake Griffin. And if you need any recent evidence to that point, we got some.

Last night, Blake Griffin managed to pull a 360 BLOCK on Jonas Jerebko. How did he do it? He did it by being Blake Griffin and being the type of player that can spend half an hour in the air to twist and turn in order to make a play.

Note that this site is calling it a “180″ block. I agree that 360 degrees might be overselling it, but a 180 block sounds far less impressive, and I’ll be damned if I’m going to call this a 270 block. So 360 it is. Even if it was more like a 270.

Here’s the video. How many degrees do YOU think Griffin turned here?

Ok. That’s pretty cool. Jerebko made a lot of evasive maneuvers and Griffin still managed to stick him.
