Jay Cutler autograph

Jay Cutler could have done without this. I mean, I’m sure memorabilia is put up for auction all the time that doesn’t get won, but normally, it’s not happening to the struggling Bears quarterback. Cutler has carved out a niche as the NFL’s premiere sad-sack Charlie Brown-type, so he probably didn’t need this hit to the ego. He’s already got the entire city of Chicago basically just resigned to his presence until he blows out his knee or gets hit by a meteor or something.

The Jay Cutler autographed football was auctioned up by the Anti-Cruelty Society, a pet adoption agency, but failed to attract a bidder. Eventually, someone picked the football up for $100 after it failed to get any traction at auction.

Ouch. No one would buy the Jay Cutler autographed football (below) even for the sake of adorable animals.
