Empire State Building

While New York already has two teams they would naturally root for, as the largest city in America they don’t mind sharing the love a little bit. So for opening day, the Empire State Building set its colors to match the schemes of every team in Major League Baseball. Pretty cool.

Of course, with this time-lapse video, I’m probably just going to have to take their word for it, because I don’t think I can ID every single team. It does, however, give me epilepsy, which is something.

Here’s the Tweet that shows all the color arrangements. Quickly.

All right then. I bet there’s some seventy-two year-old man from Cincinnati who can call out all the teams in real time. That would almost be more impressive than the actual light show, wouldn’t it?
