Ondrej Pavelec Hit By Andrew Ladd

The Winnipeg Jets suffered quite the scare during warm-ups prior to Game 1 of their playoff series against the Anaheim Ducks, when captain Andrew Ladd lost an edge while skating around, causing him to fall and take out the legs of goaltender Ondrej Pavelec in the process.

Pavelec seemed to be a little shaken up following the collision, but when it comes to hockey, even the goalies are tough. And Pavelec is no exception, as the Jets’ keeper was still able to make the start between the pipes, stopping 29 of the 33 shots he faced in a losing effort.
