Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx is known to have a great voice. He did a fair amount of sining in Ray (as Ray Charles) and was even sampled for Kanye West’s “Golddigger.” But come May 2nd, he’ll be singing as himself, by himself, because he’s been tapped to sing the National Anthem prior to the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight.

Besides being a huge boxing fan—with the resume to match thanks to roles in Ali and the upcoming Mike Tyson biopic—Foxx has also got some experience doing this “singing before boxing matches” thing. He sang “America the Beautiful” prior to Mayweather/Mosley in 2011.
