Oops! Red Wings fan Lena Sinishtaj let her enthusiasm get the best of her after making the trip from Detroit to Tampa for Game 7 on Wednesday.

While at Amalie Arena, home to the opposing Lightning, some Tampa faithful passed around a Lightning flag prior to the game. As it was being passed around, in the crowded stadium, the Red Wings fan in question decided the best thing to do was to light the thing on fire with her lighter.

The flag was burned, but fortunately, none of the 200 people under it were hurt in any way. However, trying to light things on fire that are draped on top of people is a pretty stupid and dangerous thing to do, so Tampa Police took her in on one count of first degree arson.

She was arrested right at the beginning of the game, so she made that whole trip for nothing. Unless her intention was to put a lot of people in danger, then go to jail.

In which case…Mission accomplished.
