Fans Cheers First Ever Gay Kiss Cam Smooch at Dodgers Stadium (Video)
Normally if two dudes make it up on the kiss cam at a pro sporting event, it is because they are the butt of a homophobic joke. (“Haha, those two fans of the opposing team are losers, just like gay people are losers!”) However, this was not the case on Monday night at Dodgers Stadium.
Fifteen years after a lesbian couple were ejected from Dodgers Stadium after a fan in their section complained to ushers that their kissing was somehow corrupting children, the Dodgers kiss cam featured what’s believed to be its first ever gay couple. And the crowd gave them a rousing ovation.
Take a look:
If you thought that was gross, grow up. Like 5% of human beings are born gay, and they like to kiss each other. It’s really not a big deal. The straight couples sucking face like weirdos made me way more uncomfortable than the two dudes who gave each other a nice tender peck.
Of course, that was not the first gay kiss cam moment in MLB history. Not surprisingly, the Giants beat the Dodgers to the punch in 2011…and God blessed the Giants by giving them two more World Series Championships.
Obviously, I’m picking the Dodgers to win the 2015 World Series. Deal with it, Westboro.
