Watch This Dancing Astronaut Place a Hex Canadiens Goalie Carey Price (Video)

Carey Price doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who gets rattled easily. The Vezina and Hart finalist was so locked in this year he actually took a selfie with a fan during a TV timeout back in March. So something as harmless as a dancing astronaut isn’t likely to get him off his game.

That said, after Tampa Bay’s incredible win over the Habs last night, I wouldn’t be surprised if the dancing astronaut becomes the team’s official lucky charm for the duration of the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Bolts had a 1-0 lead over the Habs until midway through the third period, when a goal by Brendan Gallagher tied the game at one goal apiece. However, with just five seconds left in the game, Tampa Bay made one last rush into the Montreal zone, and it resulted in the second hockey buzzer-beater we’ve seen in the last week…and a commanding 3-0 series lead for the Lightning.

Now, some will give credit for this amazing turn of events to Tyler Johnson, the guy who scored the goal. But not me. I say the dancing astronaut placed a hex on Carey Price.

Take a look:

Will the dancing astronaut be back for Game 4? Tune in tonight (7pm ET) to find out.
