Hawks Michal Rozsival Suffers Nasty Leg Injury During Game 4 (Video)

Michal Rozsival leg injury vs. Wild

The Chicago Blackhawks may have completed their four-game sweep with a Game 4 victory over the Minnesota Wild last night, but they suffered a pretty significant loss in the process.

During the second period, with the Hawks leading 2-0, defenseman Michal Rozsival took a spill while skating backwards at his own blue line, causing him to twist his ankle and knee in a way that ankles and knees are not supposed to be twisted.

Rozsival had to be helped off the ice and he did not return to the Game.  Afterwards, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said the injury “doesn’t look good.” One look at the video below and you’ll probably find yourself saying the same thing.

No word yet on the severity of the injury, but it sure does look like the Hawks will have to make do without the services of Michal Rozsival for the remainder of their Stanley Cup run.
