LeBron James Chase-Down Block Prevents D.Rose’s Game-Tying Bucket (Video)

LeBron James chase-down block

The Cleveland Cavaliers earned a crucial victory in a pivotal Game 5 battle with the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday, taking a 3-2 lead in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semi-final series.  And the defining moment of the game, not surprisingly, came from none other than LeBron James.

With under a minute remaining in regulation, and the Bulls trailing by two, Derrick Rose drove through the lane on a fast-break and attempted a 7-foot fadeaway jumper that would have tied things up, had it not been for this LeBron James chase-down block.

Check it out:

As great as that was, it’s not even the most impressive thing he’s done this series.  But it did help the Cavs preserve their lead, en route to a 106-101 victory.

LeBron’s performance throughout the rest of the evening wasn’t too shabby either, with game-highs in points (38), rebounds (12), steals (3, tied with Derrick Rose), and blocks (3, tied with Iman Shumpert), to go along with a team-high 6 assists.

Will Game 6 be another edition of the “LeBron James Show”? Tune in Thursday to find out.
