LeBron James Gave a Little LeBron Wink to Scottie Pippen as the Cavs Finished Off the Bulls (Video)
Surprisingly, LeBron James did not have a whole lot to do with the Cavaliers’ 94-73 humiliation of the Bulls Thursday night in Chicago.
The King played a team-high 41 minutes and was a +20 on the night. However, he “only” recorded 15 points, 11 assists, and nine rebounds. Instead it was young roll players who led the way. Tristan Thompson had 13 points and 17 rebounds, while Matthew “Grabby Legs” Dellavedova had 19 points and was a +21.
Of course, just because LeBron wasn’t leading the scoring, that doesn’t mean he wasn’t leading the gloating. Because he was.
At one point, in fact, after nailing a gorgeous fade-away jumper, LeBron looked over at Bulls legend Scottie Pippen and gave him a little LeBron wink.
Take a look:
Now, me, I wouldn’t have winked at Scottie. He was 6-0 in the NBA Finals. LeBron is 2-3. That’s pretty much the end of the discussion. And if you wanted to continue, you could point out that there’s no way LeBron’s current Cavaliers team beats any of the Bulls championship teams. I mean, Karl Malone and John Stockton couldn’t do it. Neither could Charles Barkley and Dan Majerle. Or Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp.
But hey, wink at whoever you want, LeBron. Just don’t lose in the Finals again.
