Darrelle Revis Deflategate Comments: No Sympathy for Former Team, Says Pats “Have a History” of Cheating
Football Company Making Ball with Built-In Air Gauge (Video and Tweet)
I’m surprised it took this long for a football company to turn Deflategate into a marketing opportunity, but don’t worry. It’s happening.
Big Game USA (?) has announced a ball that has the pressure gauge built right in. I guess they think that we’ll be remembering Deflategate after Tom Brady serves his suspension. That’s a big bet, considering the memory length of most sports fans.
It’s going to be called the Vairify. Here’s a Tweet:

It works how you think, and the gauge is actually pretty inconspicuous on the ball. I was afraid the football company would put a two-inch diameter glass dial in there, but this is pretty well-integrated.
I still think it’s a terrible idea, and people won’t be clamoring to know the air pressure of their ball every instant, but now that they know a product like this exists, maybe that will change.
