The final round of the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow in Charlotte last weekend wasn’t that exciting, with Rory McIlroy winning easily by seven strokes. So two drunk dudes apparently decided to make their own fun.

How? By stealing a Quail Hollow golf cart from the clubhouse, driving it five miles to a popular Charlotte watering hole called Selwyn Avenue Pub, pulling the golf cart right up onto the patio, walking up to the bar, doing a couple of shots, and then just walking away without repercussions of any kind like nothing happened.

At least, that’s the story that was pieced together by Total Frat Move from the stories of several witnesses. And it sure does seem to be corroborated by this photo of a Quail Hollow golf cart parked on what is clearly a bar patio:

I don’t know who these guys were, I don’t have any idea how they drove a golf cart five miles along busy public roads without getting stopped by the cops, and I don’t want to know. The mystery is what makes it fun, don’t you think?
