Internet Mocks Corrupt FIFA Execs with Fake FIFA 16 Cover Art (Pics)
The sting carried out by Swiss police and the U.S. Department of Justice in Zurich on Wednesday could not have come at a worse time for poor, misunderstood FIFA.
The organization set to elect a new (probably the same) president on Friday. And on Thursday EA Sports revealed plans for FIFA 16, which inspired a lot of people on the internet to have a little fun at FIFA’s expense by creating fake cover art for the upcoming video game.

Oh man, FIFA, you just got burned by a sleazy gambling website. It might be time to get your sh*t together.
In all seriousness, though, the timing of the FIFA arrests actually does suck for women’s soccer. Not only is the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup set to start in just 10 days, but EA announced on Thursday that FIFA 16 will feature 12 women’s national teams. It’s the first time a major sports video game franchise has done something like this. And unfortunately, this huge step forward is completely overshadowed by the criminal charges levied against FIFA’s scumbag executives.
