JJ Watt and the Houston Texans Will Star in 10th Season of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” (Video)

Originally, HBO and NFL Films wanted to feature the Cleveland Browns on the 10th edition of their documentary series Hard Knocks. And that would have been pretty great. However, the team didn’t want to put all that attention on Johnny Manziel after his 10-week stay at rehab, which is understandable. So HBO and NFL Films honored their wishes and moved on, and on Wednesday they announced  that they have settled on the Houston Texans.

Obviously, this is a fantastic choice. As fun as it would be to get a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be Johnny Football, you cannot go wrong with JJ Watt. Ever. He’s the most incredible athlete and competitor in the NFL today and, perhaps more importantly, a cool dude. Throw in the Jadeveon Clowney saga, the always-amusing Arian Foster, recently acquired grillmaster Vince Wilfork, and the fact that the Texans do not have an obvious front-runner for QB heading into camp, and this should be one hell of an entertaining show.

Want to see a trailer that’s not really a trailer because there’s obviously no footage yet? Here you go:
