Someone get this guy a towel and a Gatorade, because it’s time to subĀ out whoever this defender was.

Two high school players, Malik Johnson and JJ Smith, took turns humiliating a defender on consecutive possessions. The defender will remain nameless for the sake of his dignity.

In the first instance, the defender gets a ball bounced off his face, which is not only humiliating, but likely kinda painful. The perpetrator goes on to score. The second time around, he gets hit on a crossover so bad he collapses to the ground. Again, the perpetrator goes on to score.

Of course, in high school ball, you get these kinds of disparities between players. Then less so in college, and almost not at all in the NBA. So enjoy it, guys. The only way you’ll be able to do this sort of stuff for a living is if you sign with the Harlem Globetrotters.
