The Rock

Just a few hours before the Women’s World Cup final yesterday, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, took some time during his workout to let the USWNT know that he was inspired by their efforts so far. He also said that he wasn’t trying to inspire them, because they didn’t need much help in that area.

However, he ended up offering some pretty inspirational vibes to the team. He cited their ability to inspire their country, their stingy defense, and the fact that they are the GREATEST TEAM IN THE WORLD. I think they took that last part to heart as they dismantled Japan 5-2, and the gap was far wider than the score suggested.

Here’s the video:

They call him #Electrifying, the #PeoplesChamp, some call him a #Baller. He calls the #USWNT inspiring. MUST WATCH! Dwayne The Rock Johnson is FIRED UP for #USAvJPN

Well, Dwayne, I’d say they got your message loud and clear. Even if you only sent it like three hours before the match, when the players probably weren’t doing much to check social media.
