Golfer Graham DeLaet Is in Scotland for the British Open, But His Golf Clubs Are Not

I don’t know what the protocol is for a golfer who arrives at a tournament, only to find that his clubs didn’t make the trip, but I suppose we will find out. Graham DeLaet Tweeted out to Aer Lingus, the Irish airline, to let them know that he sorta wanted his clubs to play in the British Open in Scotland.

He threw down the dreaded “#enoughisenough” hashtag. That means that he’s done playing games. Apparently Aer Lingus knew that as well, because they replied with:

This was after they asked DeLaet to follow them so they could DM him. Maybe this is their convoluted way of getting followers. If so, it appears to be working.

I can’t imagine that a golfer would be excited about playing a tournament with someone else’s clubs, but I would like to know how much it would really affect the player if he got a set that closely resembled his own.
