Golfer Graham DeLaet Is in Scotland for the British Open, But His Golf Clubs Are Not
John Daly Brings His Fashion Sense to St. Andrews (Pics)
While some golfers showed up in Scotland without their clubs, you can rest easy that John Daly made the trip to Europe with his whole sharp wardrobe in tow. Oh, and it looks like he found some cigarettes as well.
The prodigal son of the PGA Tour showed the Brits a sharp new pair of tropical pants (cut for comfort, of course) that seem to stand out against the dreary backdrop of the links course.
Here are a few “action” shots of Daly taking some putting practice while he burns one in a hoodie:
Glorious. I’m surprised he was able to find footwear to match his trousers.
Daly tees off in the first group on Thursday, and staring at those pants before he put them on was sure to kill any residual jet lag he might have been facing.
When he wasn’t just associated with garish clothing, alcohol, and tobacco products, Daly was a hell of a golfer, and because of that fact, he was able to show off another look in this year’s “past champions” photo. (If there’s any phrase that does John Daly justice, it’s the phrase “past champion.”)

I’m sure that jacket went over like gangbusters at the Royal and Ancient Golf Club. I assume that lot has a terrific sense of humor about such things.
