Minor league games aren’t known for their high production values. Tickets are roughly a nickel, and the little money the teams find generally has to fund the players. So there’s not a lot left when it comes to in-game entertainment. That will be obvious after you see this clip. At the home stadium of the West Michigan Whitecaps, the team took the venerable “dot race” format and applied it to household appliances.


Because it’s a minor league game and everything they do is totally crazy.

The people inside the water heater, stove, and dryer costumes (just cheap single-color boxes) were all children, and as we know, children sometimes have a hard time running under the best of circumstances. These were not those, and 66.666% percent of the contestants tumbled and ate it.
