We’re more accustomed to seeing ankle-breakers in basketball, not football. But that hasn’t stopped the latter from providing us with two impressive displays of ankle-breaking route-running in a 24-hour span.
The first came from Arizona Cardinals training camp, where fourth-year wide receiver Michael Floyd sent Cards cornerback Damond Smith to the turf with some slick footwork.
And for the latest example of ankle-braking route-running, we take you to Raiders camp, where Rookie wide receiver Amari Cooper was busy doing this:
He may be a rookie, but Cooper’s already running his routes like a 10-year vet.
