The Seahawks’ final play in Super Bowl XLIX will go down as one of the most analyzed and debated plays in NFL history. And, for a lot of people, it will always boil down to WHAT THE HELL WAS PETE CARROLL THINKING?!

However, the Malcolm Butler interception didn’t just come about because Pete Carroll didn’t give the ball to Marshawn Lynch. There’s a whole other side the story. And, though it probably pains a lot of NFL fans to admit it, the other side of the story is the genius coaching of Bill Belichick.

That’s what NFL Films examines in their new documentary, “Do Your Job: Bill Belichick and the 2014 Patriots.”

Of course, we already know the Patriots figured out what the Seahawks were going to do on that infamous play. We’ve all seen the video of coaches calling for Butler to get onto the field at the last second. But we had no idea exactly what was going through Bill Belichick’s mind…until now.

Take a look at the trailer:

Do Your Job premiers on the NFL Network on Wednesday, September 9, at 8pm ET, the night before the Patriots host the Steelers to kick off the 2015 NFL season.

Crazy coincidence, huh?
