5 Year-Old with Robotic Hand Throws out First Pitch at Orioles Game (Video)

It would be impressive if any five year-old was able to throw out a first pitch, but the fact that the kid at last night’s Orioles game did it with a robotic hand is way more impressive.

Hailey Dawson was born with Poland Syndrome, leaving her right hand underdeveloped. These days she’s able to make better use of it using something with the funny name of Flexy-Hand, which is made by, yup, 3D printers.

Hailey’s mom worked with the UNLV engineering department to help develop the hand to help her daughter grip, hold, and throw things.

As you can see, it works pretty well:
