Steelers To File A Complaint Against The Pats For #RadioGate
Pittsburgh’s staff are upset that officials didn’t force the Patriots to turn their own headsets off when the Steelers’ problems were reported, a team source told Yahoo Sports. Instead, New England apparently maintained all communications while Pittsburgh’s issues were being investigated. The NFL calls is the Equity rule.
Last night, apparently when an NFL representative went to the New England sideline, the Steelers headsets would clear, and as soon as they left, the Steelers lost communication again. HERE WE GO AGAIN!!
From the Steelers website:
No word from the Steelers if the radio interference made K Josh Scobee miss 2 FG’s or caused Darrius Heyward-Bey to step out of bounds while wide open for a TD. We need answers Mike Tomlin.
“We were listening to the Patriots radio broadcast for the majority of the 1st half.” – Mike Tomlin
Tomlin: “That’s always the case.”
The plot thickens. Can’t wait to see how this plays out!
