One Handed Player Sets HS Receiving Yardage Record (Video)

one handed player

Kris Silbaugh probably isn’t a name you’ll hear much of at the college or pro level, but he’s kicking ass for his high school, Cambridge Springs in Pennsylvania. The receiver is 6’2″, 175, and…oh yeah…he’s got one hand.

So naturally the guy’s a highlight reel, seeing as how every catch he makes is, technically, a one handed catch. That would make him the Odell Beckham of high school ball.

Silbaugh was born without a left hand, as the picture above shows. But that hasn’t stopped him from being a force downfield, stretching the field with a 4.4 40-yard dash time.

Here are some highlights from Kris Silbuagh’s high school career.

It’s a pretty good story, and it’s clear this kid has legit skills. I mean, you don’t get 915 receiving yards (a school record) with crappy high school quarterbacks unless you know what you’re doing.

The one handed phenom also plays volleyball and basketball, which we’d love to see as well, if it’s anything like his performances on the football field.
