Insane F1 Fan Takes Casual Stroll on Track During Singapore Grand Prix (Video)
Sometimes life just doesn’t make any sense. For example, when somebody inexplicably decides to wander out onto a race track and take a stroll right in the middle of a race, with cars whizzing by at three-digit speeds, you don’t expect that person to live to tell about it. But then they do, and we’re all just left shaking our heads.
That’s what happened this weekend at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. Right in the middle of the race, some dude just walked out onto the track.
Fortunately, race officials were able to wave the yellow flags and get the safety car out onto the track before somebody came by at 150 MPH and cut the guy in half.
Take a look:
Of course, this raises so many questions—like who was this dude, how did he get out onto the track, and why?
Unfortunately, the only answer we have is the how. Apparently there were no ushers manning the gates to the track:

Apparently organizers assumed the threat of death or public flogging (remember, this was Singapore) would be enough to deter people from going onto the track.
Clearly, they assumed wrong.
