For the First Time Since 2013, The Raiders Are Betting Favorites

Oakland Raiders betting favorites

How bad have the Oakland Raiders been as of late?  So bad that they’ve been underdogs in each of their past 27 games.

How bad are the Chicago Bears right now?  So bad that they will help the Raiders end that streak of futility, with oddsmakers naming Oakland as two-point favorites to beat the Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday.

The Raiders actually enter their week 4 contest against the Bears with a respectable 2-1 record, thanks to back-to-back wins over the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.  As for Chicago, they’re 0-3 on the season and were shut out for the first time since 2002 on Sunday during a 26-0 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

So when was the last time the Raiders were favorites?  Week 9 of the 2013 season against the Eagles—a game that they lost by a score of 49-20.
