Ronda Rousey Is Training Vin Diesel’s Daughter In Judo
Teaching your daughter self-defence? It’s not a terrible idea. Especially if you want to instil confidence and teach her that she doesn’t have to rely on men to take care of her.
Of course, if you’re Vin Diesel and you want to teach your daughter self-defence, you don’t just send her to the neighborhood dojo. You get Olympic bronze medalist and UFC champion Ronda Rousey to teach her judo. Because, after co-starring in Fast and Furious 7 with you, Ronda Rousey is your friend.
In a recent interview with WENN, Diesel talked about being a dad, and how he’s a little overprotective of his seven-year-old daughter, Hania. And that, of course, led to this revelation:
“First of all, I feel sorry for anyone that has to her. I wouldn’t want that on my worst enemy because I’m just that kind of dad. I’ve been thinking about this since the day I cut the umbilical cord, and because of that, I made a decision early on that I was going to do everything in my power to empower her to handle it herself. Because of her auntie Ronda Rousey, she is now an orange belt with stripes in Judo. I’m dealing with it early. I’m creating a beast and I want her to be able to say no means no.”
Yep. Ronda Rousey is training Vin Diesel’s daughter to be—in his own words—”a beast.”
Look out, boys.
