Big Jerk Steals Puck From Young Penguins Fan (Video)

Old Pens Fan Steals Puck

I never understood why adults are so obsessed with catching balls or pucks at sporting events.  I mean, what are they going to do with them?  Unless it’s from an extremely significant and/or rare event, they’re likely not worth anything.  But that still doesn’t seem to stop some of these grown-ass idiots from desperately seeking souvenirs at a game.

And that takes us to this big jerk from Thursday night’s NHL match-up between the Sabres and Penguins in Pittsburgh.  During a stoppage in play, Sabres head coach (and former Penguins head coach) Dan Bylsma tossed a puck in the direction of a young Pens fan seated behind Buffalo’s bench.  But that toss was intercepted by some greedy old jerk.

Watch:

Is a puck ever worth a lifetime of ridicule? Something tells me that this old dude is about to find out the answer to that question.

As for the youngster, I wouldn’t feel too bad for him. He ended up getting a puck after all:

And a jersey too!:
