Will Hill block field goal for game-winning TD

Remember that guy who ranked every single Cleveland Browns loss since 1999? Well, I think it’s safe to say he has a new entry for his top five. On Monday night, the Browns lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the Browniest way imaginable—a would-be game-winning field goal blocked and returned for a game-winning last-second special teams touchdown for the Ravens. In fact, it would have been totally unbelievable if this were not the Browns…and if the exact same thing had not happened to the Florida State Seminoles back in October.

On October 24, the ‘Noles saw their three-year ACC winning streak snapped by Georgia Tech when a would-be game-winning field goal was blocked and returned for a game-winning last-second special teams touchdown for the Yellow Jackets. It was devastating and heartbreaking. However, it did produce one of the best sports tweets of all time, courtesy of the official FSU Football Twitter feed:

As you can see, this tweet went over very well with the interwebz, getting over 11k retweets and almost 10k likes. So on Monday, knowing just how the Browns felt, they had some very sound advice for the Browns:

Of course, the Browns did not take the Seminoles’ advice. They’re the Browns. They take good advice from no one. So instead, they offered up a single candid tweet:

Then it was business as usual:

You didn’t expect the Browns to be cool, did you?
