Say what you want about LeBron James‘ place in NBA history, but it’s hard to deny that he’s come through as one of the most philanthropic stars the game has ever seen.

Yesterday, Celtic fan and Special Olympian Aaron Miller was recognized during the Cavs game as the MVP of a recent competition:

His name was mentioned in front of a big crowd, but the high point surely came after that, when LeBron caught up with the Special Olympics star and ended up giving him his shoes after the game.
