Kirk Cousins Has Brain Fart, Kneels To End Half With Redskins In Scoring Position (Video)
WTF was Kirk Cousins thinking here?
With six seconds remaining in the first half and the Washington Redskins’ offense positioned at the Eagles’ 6-yard line, Kirk Cousins was supposed to throw a quick fade to Pierre Garcon in the end zone. Basically, the plan was to go for a touchdown, but at least leave Redskins kicker Dustin Hopkins with enough time to attempt a field-goal.
But, rather inexplicably, Kirk Cousins did neither, opting to kneel down and run out the half:
Redskins lead at the half, 16-10.
