Retired Pitcher Dan Haren Shares Random Thoughts About His Career in Series of Fantastic Tweets

Back in October, right after the Cubs were eliminated from the NLCS, pitcher Dan Haren announced that he was retiring. And he sure had a hell of a great career, what with a solid 3.75 ERA, three trips to the All-Star Game, and two top 10 finishes in Cy Young voting over 13 seasons.

Fortunately, however, while Dan Haren may have retired his pitching arm, he did not retire his Twitter account. The guy has been one of the most entertaining athletes on social media over the last few years, and on Monday he showed why with a string of brilliant tweets in which he shared random thoughts about his career as they popped into his head.
