Brandon Marshall Has Some Words of Advice For Johnny “Billy” Manziel
Brandon Marshall must be heartbroken after his New York Jets blew their opportunity at an AFC Wild Card spot by losing to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, but he didn’t allow that heartbreak to stop him from appearing on this week’s edition of Showtime’s “Inside the NFL.”
And while there, he even took a moment to send some sounds advice in the direction of Johnny “Billy” Manziel. Check it out:
“Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. This is a serious topic. Well, first, you’ve got to forget about football, sir. You need to go get your life together. And to be quite frank, I don’t think you get it. You don’t understand. You’re ruining a very, very special opportunity. It’s an honor to be in the NFL.
“There is a thing out there called divine mentorship, where you can learn from others’ mistakes. He has the opportunity to really sit back and reflect on his situation, look at others, and learn from it and be better.”
That is some sounds advice from the Jets wideout. Much better than, “get yourself a better disguise,” which is more along the lines of what I probably would have recommended to the (soon to be ex) Browns’ back-up quarterback.
