Adrian Peterson On Marshawn Lynch: He’s The 2nd Best RB In The League Behind Me
Adrian Peterson is a beast & Marshawn Lynch is a beast as well. Different running styles but they both get the job done. You can’t go wrong with either one to be honest. Peterson took home the rushing title this season after racking up 1,485 yards and 11 touchdowns, and has stated many times before that he considers himself the best running back in the NFL.
So, who does Adrian think is the 2nd best RB in the league. ‘Beast Mode’.
“I remember coming out (of college) with him. We trained together in Arizona, and I knew he was going to be a force to be reckoned with,” theMinnesota Vikings running back said, according to Ben Goessling of ESPN. “He’s ‘Beast Mode’ for a reason: He’s a physical runner. He plays fast. His lateral movement, cuts, his vision is top of the line. Even though he didn’t play much this year, I would say he’s probably the second-best back in the league. I’d give it to him, hands down.
“I’m a guy with a little more speed. I don’t think he’s got the same jump-cut as me. But his lateral movement, his ability to get through guys is amazing.”
Even though it might now show in his numbers this year, because Lynch missed 9 games, you could make the argument that he is the 2nd best RB in the league. Lynch finished with 417 yards and three touchdowns in 2015.
