This week’s SNL was held back about 30 minutes due to Saturday’s Packers-Cardinals game, and it looks like they got their revenge when it came time to air. The show mocked the networks’ propensity to show gruesome injuries again and again, despite the fact that the announcers are usually saying, “Oh, boy. You hate to see that.”

In this skit, Pete Davidson plays the straight man QBing a game as a fictional quarterback gets his legs riped off his body. Sure, it’s a little far-fetched, but it’s plenty fun. Take a look:

It’s just the right mix of absurd and topical to hit the mark.
