Chris Harris On Stopping Gronkowski: “Take Out His Knees”; Gronk Responds Back

by: Darrelle Lincoln On  Tuesday, January 19, 2016

Rob Gronkowski is 6’6″ 270 lbs, literally a man-beast running on a football field. Not too many ways to tackle this man while not hurting yourself in the process. Broncos cornerback Chris Harris seems to have a solution on how to bring him down ahead of their Sunday matchup to determine who’s going to Super Bowl 50.

“You gotta hit him low, man – hit him in his knees,” Harris said on ESPN on Tuesday. “That’s the best chance you have of hitting him.”

Not one player in the league wants to hear a fellow player say they’re gonna take out their knees. That’s a career-ending injury if hit the right/wrong way. Rob Gronkowski got wind of the comment and responded back to him and the Broncos on Twitter.
