New England Patriots’ Danny Amendola Fined For Hit On Jamell Fleming
Last weekend, The Chiefs were fresh off a 30-0 beatdown they gave to Houston and flying high as they traveled to play the New England Patriots in the divisional round. Chiefs fought hard, but time management issues caused them to lose by a score of 27-20.
Midway through the second quarter, Danny Amendola was flagged for a personal foul for an illegal, helmet-to-helmet hit on Jamell Fleming.

“Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports that Amendola said Friday that the league informed him that he has been fined for the hit. He didn’t disclose the amount of the fine, but the NFL’s schedule of fines for the season calls for a $23,152 fine for an illegal hit on a defenseless player.”
