According to reports, Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch has shared with people close to him that he plans to retire this offseason.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, his teammates are actively trying to convince Lynch, 29, to return next season. However, Lynch has already informed the team that he intends to step away from the game.

Hampered by injuries, Lynch carried the ball just 111 times for 417 yards in 2015. He played in seven games while dealing with hamstring and abdominal injuries.
