Peyton Manning Lost Out on $3.2-Million With Free Budweiser Plug (Tweets)
Earlier today we told you about Peyton Manning‘s plans to celebrate his Super Bowl 50 victory with a lot of Budweisers. The Broncos quarterback made a note to mention it, not once, but twice following last night’s big game. And the craziest thing of all is that he mentioned the beer brand without an endorsement or marketing deal between himself and Anheuser-Busch InBev in place.
That’s millions of dollars in advertising, during one of the world’s most highly marketable events, for free!
How much money exactly did Budweiser save thanks to Manning’s free endorsement? According to Apex MG Analytics, each mention is worth approximately $1.6-million, for a grand total of $3.2-million:
