Magic Johnson Says He Won’t Watch Another Manny Pacquiao Fight After Anti-Gay Remarks

by: Black Adam Schefter On  Friday, February 19, 2016

Former Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson is not a fan of the recently outspoken Manny Pacquiao who has been taking a bunch of heat lately for his comments on the gay community. He first compared gays to animals and then shared a bible verse stating gays will be ‘put to death’. Nike has since ended their business relationship with him and Manny doesn’t seem to care too much.

“I’m happy,” Pacquiao said when asked how the controversy has affected him. “I’m always happy because God is with me.

I still stand on my belief that I’m against same sex marriage because of what the Bible says.

What I am saying is right. I mean, I am just stating the truth, what the Bible says,”

Magic Johnson, who has a son that is apart of that gay community took offense to these recent comments and he spoke about it on Twitter.
