Fat Pablo Sandoval Reports to Red Sox Camp…Still Fat, Internet Reacts (Pics + Tweets)
Last season, after signing a five-year, $95-million contract, Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval showed up to spring training looking fatter than ever. Those weight issues seemed to followed him throughout the 2015 season, as he batted an abysmal .245/.292/.366, and he even had to be pulled from a game due to light-headedness after sprinting home on a sac fly.
With the Kung-Fu Panda set to get paid another $17,600,000 in 2016, you’d expect he’d arrive at spring training this season in better shape and eager to prove he’s worth the hefty contract, right?
Sandoval arrived at Red Sox camp earlier today, and just look at how fat he is!!!
And, of course, Twitter reacted to the Fat Pablo Sandoval sighting:

Red Sox told Pablo Sandoval to come to camp in better shape, and @LouMerloni says it doesn’t look like he lost a single pound.
